Sunsets & Stories

Rancho Palos Verdes is a city featuring a beautiful seascape and views of Catalina Island. It has a very interesting history and geographical features. Near the sea is the Point Vicente lighthouse set on a cliff. The government has built a long walkway on the edge of the cliff, and parks to play and picnic. From the walkway, the Santa Monica Mountain Range is visible to the North. Before leaving for home, I watched the sun setting behind Santa Barbara Island or possibly San Nicolas Island.
